It all stands with misunderstanding; a misunderstanding between two people. If this misunderstanding has been talked over and the two parties amicably settling it, then the path does not fork into two again. However, if the misunderstanding is not settled, the road takes a different turn. Usually the road ends at a a ravine where both parties fall and injure each other.. figuratively, of course.
Then the misunderstanding becomes something else. Other parties start to cash in. Prejudices become apparent. Bottled sentiments towards the other party start to surface. The original parties are now swamped with opinions, and advices that tend to say, "To hell with it." One or both the original parties are now seduced into thinking that they did nothing wrong or if they did, they tried to take efforts to amend the situation which the other party ignored.
Both parties now openly air their sentiments masked in words that are intended for the meaning to become ambiguous and addressed to the general populace. The other people involved, the third parties, also start to react openly to the sentiments but never directly. As before, prejudices and side-taking now become more apparent. The heat that has stood between both parties now become a full-blown fire through additional firewood and other fuel added by people who have not been involved in the situation in the first place.
Amidst all these, one thing is apparent: the people who have been offering advices, giving stained opinions have not helped at all in the resolution of the problem. Instead, they made it worse, much worse than any of the parties can ever hope to fix. When the day is said and done, these parties would just sit back and say, "I tried to tell them, but they didn't listen." What's left are two people in ruin, and people scarred by the experience.
Look around you. You'll know what I'm saying is true.
